2 weeks before CNY
when i was at hometown, my mum phoned me and told me about UTAR is going to provide MBBS this year, the intake will be at May, but actually weeks ago i went for an interview at IMU and i though that i would end up there, but never mind, since she was so happy i immediately proceed with the application,
few days before CNY
I have received a call from IMU, I am offered a place for their Local Programme MBBS, but at the meantime i had applied for UTAR and i decided to go to UTAR. It end up with the rejection of the offer...
After CNY
I have received a letter from UTAR that my application was processing
During CNY
Many of my friends, cousins and even teacher asked me not to choose UTAR, but i have rejected IMU, what to do?! Actually that time I choose UTAR to decrease my mother's burden, honestly, i do not show much love on this school, no experience, no good facilities, no.... = = I don't know... Things i do for love!
2xth of March
I have received a letter of invitation to the interview of UTAR for the admission of the course, and for sure, i prepared for it, but not as serious as IMU's. I think that IMU would accept me, Why not UTAR? very arrogant right? haha
2nd of April
I woke up at 9am, have my breakfast, dressed formally( and leng zai-ly) and drive to Sg Long campus. I'm scheduled to 11am, but when i was there, there are no any other candidates, the notice said that the interview starts at 10am, the executive there saw me and ask me to sit down in a conference room. I though she ask me to wait there but surprisingly she brought me 2 pieces of paper, an empty A4 paper and a question paper and ask me to write one of the seven topic in 10 minutes! I was stunned and nervous! what to do! I didn't prepare for this part, i took 3 minutes to calm down and start writing it. I wrote about H1N1, when i was writing the 3rd paragraph , she stopped me and led me to another room. There was a man and a woman, they didnt introduce themselves like IMU's interviewer, and they immediately started with some definitely same question as IMU, i have forgot the questions, but this interview is much more strict than IMU one. Nevertheless i have done it. I didn't ask them some questions before it ends and i think it has made me lost some good impression for them...
Days later,
I was very regret that why i would ask them some question, any question... I was scared... I have the feeling that i would not be accepted by UTAR...IF it does happen, i would need to gamble again in IMU! My Mother just ask me to calm and calm...

i asked my mum to call UTAR, they said they will send out the offer after 14th of April, so... what i can do is just wait and wait

Actually i wanted to sleep already, before i sleep i went UTAR website to check my application status and surprisingly I AM OFFERED!
ok... Why would i choose UTAR,
i have thought clearly... RM100000 can do many things
no1 knows what will happen in 5 years time, got more money in our bank is better
Seriously, I HATE TAIWAN
Moreover, days ago i have checked the Page of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, they introduced every lecturers they have, and i found that 4 out of 5 are formal IMU lectures, everyone knows tat IMU was a very very good Medical Institute in M'sia last few years, but their lectures left 1 by 1... and they end up teaching in UTAR! i believe the no experience problem has been overcame
Prepare myself! 5 years to go!

IMU Iterview
MERRY-GO-ROUND
Check my previous post, my determination to become a doctor seem vry vry keen, but i did change it after i got some information from various media
Medicine---Pharmacy---Dentistry---Pharmacy and finally return to Medicine
I have submitted my Application on 30th of December 2009, Early in the morning of 31st of December, IMU staff phoned me and said that my interview is scheduled on 5pm that day, = =
I was shocked, how to prepare for an interview in just few hrs time? I dont have a shoe, a necktie and a leather shoe!(they wan formal attire) And so i refused them because there was a lunch that day for my grandmother's birthday. And so my interview was reschedule to 14th of January 2010
I have searched the title "IMU Interview" with google and i found many blogs with this title, I believe that people mostly write their blog very sincerely and so i believe in them too! I did some practise with the question they met with.
14th January 2010
2.05pm I was arrived at IMU Admission Office, the sky is dark though...
2.30pm i was brought to another office at the second floor, there are a few candidates there, one of a girl come with her parents and from their expression on their eyes, i can feel some unpleasant from them, Are they despising me?hmm.. if we were in the same class i will not give her any change to despise me! ****
about 2.45pm One of the interviewer from room 3 came out( i'm holding a room 3 tag) "Ong XX!", no one heed her, then it's my turn...
Start with some common question
*Tell us more about myself
*Why IMU and medicine
*As you said that you are single parents, can u afford the fees here?
*Why dont u choose pharmacy, dentistry? or engineering
*Did you do any Extra-curricular activities in school?
*Did you join any social activities in school? ( I lied in this question)
*Did you join the sports competition in School?
*Are you a good team player? ( This one is a same question in my Ielts Exam, i lied in IELTS but not here, i should lie XD)
And Finally their Famous Case Study session,
"You are a doctor and you have help me patient to recover from an illness, the patients' family offer u a trip to oversea and they will pay for all the fees, Will you accept it? Why?"
Ben: I would not accept it, healing patient from an illness is a doctor's job and responsibility, and they have paid me for consultant fees though, it is already enough
Indian Interview: Oh, so you will refuse it right? What if they give u a hamper instead of the trip?
Ben: Then i can accept it
Indian Interviewer: OH cheap cheap 1 you accept it lah... What if i give u a watch, Rolex, branded 1
Ben: The i would not accept it = =
Indian Interviewer: But the Rolex I can get from Chow kit or Petaling Street! RM 50 should get a very nice 1 already!
The interviewers are laughing now = =
Indian Interview: You know, we doctors may come along with some problem like this, it is related to some ethical issue, if u accept it, it is not really good you know?
Chinese Interviewer: What about a thank-you card? ( Oh shit! not again!)
Ben: I will Refuse it!
Interviewers: Really?
Ben: Just refuse it!
Interviewers: OK...
= =
Interviewer indian : Cheah, accepting a Thank You card will not harm you much, just accept it!
they laugh again...
Oh man = = what should i do
Fianlly the interview comes to an end!
I shook their hand and say Thank you before leaving the room, Hao Che is outside, wish him luck and i leave the office, and go home~

100th post!
13/3/2009 Friday-- Chong Hwa 90th Anniversary
today is the grand ceremony of 90th Anniversary for my school
Unfortunately,
rain fall on us in the morning
we have breakfast and look at the rain
it stopped
and continue at 7.30am
haha = =
Although my SPM result is not as good as i expected
but i will not fall like this,
i will continue "handsomely" my journey to complete my last high school year!
after breakfast,
we went back to class
sign for attendant wait for the announcement for further arrangement of the ceremony
"Form 5 and Form 6 student please proceed to the hall,
we have ceremony in it"
then beisi ascended to meet me and we go to sit with ren class friends
the board of directors are arriving 1 by 1
once they arrive, the band will have a performance and we will clap our hands = =
after the ceremony,
we have 15mins rest and the performance by societies of our school
1st, drum then others i have forgotten = =
oh ya,
jia hui sang, geng geng!!!
after the performance we discuss where we have our lunch
then finally we eat mamak at Mutiara
we chat adn watch movie there = =
then we go home,
some of them went for soccer in segambut
15/3/2009--KLCC Edu Fair
today
i woke up at 9.30am
then have my breakfast and play will the cute little wen xuan
then jun hui called me to go edu fair
i rushed home to prepare
at the beginning they said they take LRT
and then they changed decision...
they drive there = =
after that, i reached KLCC at 1.35pm
they were there already
seems Nx get what we want and preparing to leave with ji fai and lukluk
chuat went to a talk
jun hui and I roam around with ko yee
Jun hui was hungry,
he ate make cake and bread baked by the students of the Baery Institute, SugarCraft,
i'm regret that i didnt take the photo of the LV handbag Cake = =
we stop by the British Council unit,
the exhibitor there vry lan c...
Jun hui and chuat seems leaving us...
Chuat has confirmed
they maybe will go to UTAR for A-level
then we go to have A&W
then chuat fetch me home
as i tell him that my house was vry near KLCC
it is a 10 mins ride, haha = =
quite near
anyway, thank you very much for the ride

IELTS
i must done this post in 10 minutes,
as i have tuition tomorrow
i have to sleep early
ok, today
2 people told me to ask them to join me when I was in IELTS
wei siang and hao che
They reminded me
about the English Requirement of IMU
then i go to check and confirm:
she told me she will be attending the course for IELTS before the test
then i start to check the validation period for the test
in my memory it will expire after half year time
but the answer is 2 years
then i must take it earlier or it will be very rush if i take it after my UEC test
it is a must for me.
if necessary i will go to British Council to register
MUET...
i have to ask tuition teacher tomorrow
the full score for IELTS is 9.0
for Medicine course at 2010, it need 7.0 = =
IELTS divided into 3 parts
for my friends who dont know what is IELTS
pls check here

MUET Band score of 4 IELTS
At least an overall band score of 6.5 (Individual band score of not less than 6.0). Students opting for the Partner University option - band score of 7.0 or above prior to entering the matching exercise. 2010 onwards - At least an overall band score of 7.0 or better.
The Ministry of Higher Education stipulates that all students entering universities in Malaysia must sit for MUET regardless of having other English qualifications.then just now chat with ko yee
